Redesign of The National Archives website

The National Archives of Ireland have redesigned their website. This cleaner and smarter design (powered it seems by a WordPress template) provides the user with a more pleasing and interactive online experience.

Archivists and researchers alike will find the enhanced search facility, which uses ADLIB software, very effective. John Grenham has reviewed the website in his Irish Roots column, Irish Times, 6 February 2012.

 

Also recently uploaded online is the catalogue of the Chief Secretary’s Office Registered Papers for the years 1818-1822.
